About The Label

Founded in 2015, GSR is a label that aims to make a positive change in the music industry. Inspired by the struggles of independent artists in the bay area, that always fought to maintain integrity and pursue their dreams in a savage industry.

Because we know the struggle, we offer both, better royalty percentages and larger percentages on merchandising. We have in-house publishing, major distribution channels, and legal backing. The difference with Gorilla Status is that we care about the artist. We want our artists to do as well as we do, because we all gotta eat.
